Kiwa Dive
Through several years of development, we believe we offer a weight belt that has superior comfort and flexibility, whether you are a beginner free diver or a commercial SCUBA diver. 100% designed and assembled in New Zealand with 10 great colour options so you can blend in, or, stand out from a crowd.
Each belt is hand assembled individually, every screw has been secured with Loctite, the stainless is polished and it's then packaged beautifully in our recyclable cardboard sleeves to be sent to you!
Kiwa Dive was founded by Esther, a kiwi marine scientist who turned a personal passion into a purpose-driven brand. While working full time in marine science, Esther discovered freediving overseas and quickly fell in love with the sport. When she returned home to New Zealand in 2015, she was surprised by the lack of quality weight belt options, especially belts designed with freedivers and women in mind.
What began as a side project soon became a mission. After weeks of testing, refining, and multiple design iterations, Esther created a weight belt that offered the fit, comfort, and performance she couldn’t find elsewhere. Those early designs evolved into the Kiwa weight belt we proudly sell today.
Since then, Kiwa Dive has grown beyond weight belts to include dive masks, snorkels, and other essential dive accessories. At the heart of everything we do is a strong commitment to ocean conservation, supporting initiatives both locally in New Zealand and globally to protect the marine life that inspires us every day.
